An email from Willie gave me pause for thought:
“Hi there Hilary, Willie here from sunny South Africa. I so enjoy your work, I hardly ever participate, but I enjoy the read. I feel like most of your subscibers are reasonably advanced. There might be a few of us who would enjoy a brief introduction with lots of detail to get me up to speed.”
Good point – I do tend to miss out the basics when I post here. That’s actually because they’re elsewhere on the site – but it’s such a big, sprawling creature that they’re not that easy to find.
So – some links. All the basics are covered in the ‘Practical I Ching’ section. You can start at ‘What is the I Ching, anyway?’ and follow the arrows at the end of each page to get a complete introduction. Or go to the index page for links to stuff on asking questions, building hexagrams, making sense of the answer, etc.
If you’d prefer, there’s also a free beginners’ course available by email. And a more advanced course (not free) – both available from here.
I hope this is the kind of thing people are looking for. 🙂
