Stephen Karcher webinar update

You know our next webinar is with Stephen Karcher?

Recap of the details:

It’s on 26th March, 6pm UK time (morning or early afternoon across the USA – see timezone converter). Online, as usual, in our own private ‘virtual meeting room’. (So long as you have a Windows computer with an internet connection, you can come.) (Sorry, Mac users. I’m looking into alternatives.)

If you’re not familiar with Stephen and his work, have a look at the Amazon page for Total I Ching – especially the reader reviews – to get an idea of what he’s about.

The theme for the webinar will be ‘making Change a part of your life’ – practical issues of divination and how to make it work for you. The main topics of discussion will come from questions people (like you, for instance 😉 ) submit before the event. If you send a question in now, I’ll be able to pass it on to Stephen when I see him in Oxford on the 18th.

A small sampling of the questions suggested so far…

  • ‘I have become addicted to on-line casting methods because they are so quick and easy. Am I losing something?’
  • ‘Are yarrow stalks better than coins?’
  • ‘How would you define the meaning of “heng”, as in Kongzi’s sentence: “Without heng, one cannot hope to benefit from the Yi in his daily life!” ‘
  • ‘When there are several transforming lines and these are in direct conflict, what does one do?’
  • ‘How do you interpret nuclear hexagrams, and when are they important?’
  • ‘How do you do “face-to-face” readings?’
  • ‘Several times recently when casting coins a coin has landed on its edge. How do I deal with this?’

I know you’ll already have answers for some/most of these. The excitement will come in hearing what Stephen makes of them and what ideas they spark off for him. I’ve never talked to him yet without coming away crammed full of new ideas.

If you have a question of your own, please send it in via this page so I can gather them together easily. After you’ve submitted your question, you’ll have the chance to reserve your seat. (And there are a couple of nice Yijing-related downloads on the thanks page.)

If you don’t have a question, but would still like to book your seat, you can go directly to the order form.

(It’s only £7 a head – something in the region of $13.50 US. )
