Hello Röebok - thank you for writing :)

Any more I could say...? Well, things happened and we haven't yet moved. What I'm learning from/through/with the hexagram is that being 'at home' happens on many levels and for me is absolutely inseparable from being of service - as in, I am at home where I'm useful.

Huge congratulations on collecting your keys - that's something I'm still imagining and looking forward to, even while I enjoy being at home right where I am.

p.s. my name is Röebok, not necessarily rebecca (here) and this is the first comment I've written in this site. However, I look forward to another door opening by finding this site.

Hi,
I too am moving to the country with my fiancee and two dogs this year (in fact are getting the keys on Monday) and to the first home either of us have ever owned. We've been looking ever since we got together and have made do in the meanwhile with a miniature council flat for us four.
Slightly different to you, it's been such a long time for us since living comfortably or ever (like you) in our OWN home, that in all my excitement, ideas and imagination, I don't really know what we're going to expect, perhaps because it's just so overwhelming.
But I'm so happy this hexagram and situation is relevant for you too. It gives me insight and shows I am not alone. We have many plans, like said and are really looking forward to it. I know the magic of the I Ching and therefore am doubly happy about you having been given this particular hexagram.
Is there any more you could say about it? I must check my book, which is however not with me at the moment. But there's always a right time for right things (even if its not the present)...!
Lots of love and light, xx

Yes... exactly what I'm looking forward to. This sense of being 'at home' is important to me on all kinds of levels - it'll be good to have an outer reflection of it.

Interesting too, that the concept of yin is within while that of yang is without. Here one is within the confines of the household, and therefore is at least relatively safe and content. In the outside world we are more likely to find hostility, and trouble. Within, we have the fireplace, the kitchen, and the one's we love. Some love the road, some love the inn. It is all in your perspective. But here I sense a happiness in finding that which is your own, and a shelter you can retreat to, furnished the way you choose.
