Living Change I Ching podcast 4
Well, I’m still getting the hang of my new microphone (I hope), and recovering some voice after the seasonal cold, and experimenting with recording without a script… not sure about the merits of that one… but anyway, here’s podcast 4.

The question this time was about opening the channel for a reading – how to create space and allow the message to be heard. (Part of the preparation for the ‘Opening Space for Change‘ event.) Yi’s response: 59.1.2 changing to 42, which made for a much longer recording. The promised second half will be in the Jewelbox for Change Circle members within the next couple of days.
Comments very, very welcome. (Too long? Too hesitant? Too close to the microphone?
)

The sound is much better!

Thanks! I bought a new, expensive USB microphone: no more ‘noise’ on the recordings from the connection, but it picks up everything. I should probably print out my notes and record away from the computer fan, as you can definitely hear that.

Which microphone did you get, out of interest? Thinking of getting a Samson CO3 myself and curious which one you got.
I’m not sure I can hear your computer fan over my computer fan…

Now I can re-record the entire (new) Yijing course – which took me months first time around. Yay.

Very welcome. Meditative feel with just the right pace. I’ve had to listen several times before I felt I’d ‘got’ it, though — there’s a lot in there. (That’s not a criticism but a good thing).
Question: whose translation were you using for the quotes?

Thank you.
The translation’s mine – leaning heavily on Eranos – and you can download it from inside the Friends’ Area as a pdf, at
