Hilary Barrett, I Ching

Preview of the new design

After my last post with its cautionary tale, it’s good to be able to tell you that the new site design will go live this month. So this would be a space to watch. ;)

Meanwhile, here’s a preview of the new navigation:

New navigation for onlineClarity

The real thing is altogether bigger, brighter and clearer, of course - I just don’t have the space here for a good picture. But you can (hopefully) see from the screenshot, it’ll be much easier to see what’s available and find what you’re interested in. This blog, the members’ area, the various I Ching things for sale, will all be just a click or two away. (In the present design, I feel like I ought to give out prizes to everyone who even finds the blog.)

Also, all the I Ching information will be under just one tab: ‘learn’. You’ll no longer have to guess whether what you’re looking for counts as ‘practical I Ching’ or ‘I Ching resources’, and I’ll have plenty of ’space’ to add new articles.

Not long to go now…

At least you got quality work out of all the hassle! It looks good, and judging from the navbar at least, you didn’t let readability go out the window in the name of style. As a member of the poor-vision contingent, i thank you!

I’m all in favour of websites people can read. ;) The default font size on this blog’ll be bigger, too.
