BTW - given the XOR material it becomes possible to identify the purpose of one's particular nature (as compared to the 'random' element represented in one's singular nature). To get this just (a) identify your 'totem' hexagram using the MBTI associations and then (b) XOR with hexagram 63.

For example, a pure STP 'type' would map to heaven. XOR 01 with 63 to get 64. 64 covers the avoidance of closure, eternally staying open when 01 focuses on perpetual dynamics as part of skill development. Thus the purpose of 01 is the perpetual development of skills that allow for general skill in competitive environments to a level of being a universal - able to 'fit in' any where, any time.

The singular aspect, that which is you by name, is the random variable that allows for 'mutations' to elicit variations in choices - and so Darwin's mutation focus is not over thousands of years, with consciousness it is down to a lifetime and each moment in that lifetime ;-)

Since the I Ching is derived from self-referencing, as is such typologies as the MBTI (and so our personas) there is a direct resonance of each of us with the hexagrams, some being a positive resonance of 'identity', others being more 'other'. Map your current MBTI 'type' and the correlations are:

NFP - earth
NFJ - mountain
SFJ - water
STJ - wind
NTP - thunder
NTJ - fire
SFP - lake
STP - heaven

Each of these will have eight hexagrams associated with them - review them to get a more precise 'resonance' with self. (this also gets into emotions that drive us and so influence persona expressions).

If a hexagram is 'haunting' you then there is unfinished business in that relationship.

For 'me' by hexagram is 51. This relates to my particular and so species-membership nature. Add to this my singular nature that allows for variations on a theme.
