I emailed my friend Alex to ask him if he would meet me for coffee or drinks. He has not responded. I feel that there is something between us and I just can not seem to let it go. I intentionally asked him if he would meet me because I wanted to see if he would.I feel strongly for this man,I might even love him. Will I be able to get over this anytime soon?

Yes/no questions may be easy to formulate but they are inferior to questions that are focused and considered.

As long as the questioner is perfectly aware and clear as to the parameters of their question, a yes/no question \i{can} be asked. However, yes/no questions by their very nature are not specific enough and leave too much room for error during the interpretation stage - especially for the beginner.

Ironically, should a questioner in fact \i{have} the skill to zero-in on the specifics of their inquiry, they will more often than not avoid the yes/no question. This is because they know from experience that by aiming directly into the heart of their inquiry they will get infinitely better results.

Conclusion: Those who would be able to pull it off, rarely bother with it. And those who can't pull it off, use it far too often, adding to their overall confusion for what the results mean.
